It includes recordings with Bud Shank, Harry Babasin, Shelly Manne, Harry 'Sweets' Edison, Jimmy Rowles, Al Hendrickson, Andre Previn, Buddy Collette, Ray Brown and other noted musicians who were members of his line-ups for these sessions.
