Named after a Deftones song, Uninteresting Event started as Greg and James playing a bunch of coffee houses together. James played unplugged acoustic guitar and Greg a djembe. Then Marco came back to LA and started playing bass with them. This worked out well because Marco had played with Greg before so they vibed real nice and already had a thing going. After a while, James plugged into an amplifier and Greg switched to a drumset. Hardcore acoustic was born. The three of them have been playing since summer of '04. After plying over 100 gigs, including residencies at Miyagi's on Sunset in Hollywood and The VEnezia in Redondo Beach, California, they have finished an album just in time for the beginning of 2008. They operate their own record label and publishing company, Bangit! Oh, and all of their songs are about girls.
