Death metal and technical grind have an interesting way of co-existing. While each genre shares characteristics with the other it would seem that many bands would rather stay narrow in scope and keep the two as oil and water. All Shall Perish have managed to rejuvenate the underground by encompassing more of extreme metals tangents and now, on AWAKEN THE DREAMERS more than ever, they're throwing the deathcore term out the window and re-establishing the definition of heavy with a youthful and vigorous aplomb.
