Warehouse Pop Up SALE THURSDAY 4-7PM

It's warehouse pop-up season again! Last summer's road construction woes led us to broaden our horizons with a series of sales over at our eastside warehouse location. With a huge spread of bargain LPs, CDs, 45s, books, DVDs, and posters outside joined by a primo selection of collectible vinyl inside, we brought out a really great crowd, and many of you have asked when we would do it again!

Join us for another round this Thursday evening from 4 until 7 PM, as we roll out the aforementioned spread of LPs, CDs, 45s, books and more, covering just about every genre of music. We'll be pouring beers from a keg supplied by the Great Dane, and resident front counter DJ Evan will be playing records out of the bargain stacks.

Inside the warehouse, we'll have a deep selection of recently acquired LP curiosities to browse, covering many genres like classic rock, psych and pop, jazz, blues, early indie, folk, hip hop and house.

We've got a slew of sealed and rare Beatles LPs, a very thorough run through Grateful Dead studio and live albums, collectible classics from the Velvet Underground, Captain Beefheart, David Bowie, Them, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Gram Parsons and Frank Zappa, plus more from Leonard Cohen, Jimi Hendrix, the Beach Boys, Neil Young, The Band, Sir Douglas, Hawkwind, Fairport Convention, T.Rex, Levon Helm, Gene Clark, and John Prine.

A wide selection of jazz LPs includes plenty of early 70s Blue Note and Prestige titles, some mono, from names like Dexter Gordon, Andrew Hill, Horace Silver, Sonny Stitt, Lee Morgan, Joe Henderson, Art Blakey, and Lou Donaldson, plus more from Pharaoh Sanders, Doug Raney, Archie Shepp, Larry Coryell, Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Joe Thomas, and Sonny Rollins. Big blues LPs in store include nice ones from Luther Allison, Lightnin Hopkins, Junior Wells, Albert Collins, Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, and Mississippi Fred McDowell.

Punk, wave and early indie turns up from the Clash, Devo, Snakefinger, Acid Mothers Temple, the MC5, PIL, the Ramones, Pere Ubu, Claude Denjean, Iggy Pop, Yoko Ono, Brian Eno, and Julee Cruise, plus metal business from AC/DC, Lizzy Borden, Witch, Sacrifice, and Spinal Tap, and some more contemporary rock from Morphine, Smashing Pumpkins, Guitar Wolf, Shellac, Sonic Youth, and the Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Soul and funk from the Meters, Parliament, James Brown, Prince, and Otis Redding meets reggae from Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff, some deep 80s/90s hiphop from Ultramagnetic MCs, Lil Kim, K-CI & JoJo, MC Eiht, Us3 and the Geto Boys, and a wide range of 90s house and electro 12s, including some rare deep ones from Moodymann, Villalobos, Cobblestone Jazz, and the Guidance label.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
