New Year's Day - January 1 - CLOSED

Happy Holidays from all of us at Strictly Discs!

NEW THIS WEEK AT THE SHOP:

We close out the strangest year with some final 2020 arrivals. Tragically posthumous bangers are in from POP SMOKE and JUICE WRLD on vinyl at last, plus we get a new LP edition of 'Because the Internet' from CHILDISH GAMBINO.

We've stocked up on some of our favorite Numero titles that haven't been around much lately, including must-hears from CHARLIE MEGIRA, RUPA, and the mindblowing obscure garage-pop comp LOUIS WAYNE MOODY HIGH.

Rare groove essentials come through from REEBOP KWAKU BAH and GABOR SZABO, whose 1968 masterpiece 'Dreams' gets a heavyweight quality reissue, plus we have the communal percussion summit 'Heaven' from the elusiva California unit ARICA back in print.

Healing voices to bring us into a new year roll in in the jazzhouse-tipped new slab from jazz singer DEBORAH JORDAN, idiosyncratic country crooning from JOSEPHINE FOSTER, and sleek R&B from GEORGIE SWEET on her debut LP 'Misunderstood'.

Fluid jazz-house is in from DAN KYE, 3 new tunes from AVALON EMERSON follow on from her incredible DJ Kicks set, lifer UK dreamdance G FLAME releases a 2LP set of archival bliss, we get a reissue of a major statement from DJ SPRINKLES, a new oddball-trance effort from ROY OF THE RAVERS, and delightful fourth world from GEORGIA on the Firecracker label.

Timeless jazzy industrial is back in print from BOURBONNESE QUALK, Studio One roots comp AFRIKAN BLOOD is back in stock, the latest Analog Africa set covers the Zimbabwean rumba maniacs HALLELUJAH CHICKEN RUN BAND, Music From Memory label jewels from PRISCILLA ERMEL and SUSO SAIZ/SUZANNE KRAFT are back in the house, plus we have a lovely archive set from obscure Canadian studio man TOMMY MANDEL, called 'Music For Insomniacs'. Hey, that might be you!
